Chapter 2 Pay attention to every detail

Chapter 2 Pay attention to every detail

As owner of this business, it is my duty to be personally involved in every detail along the way. My ass is on the line and my profits too. To ensure company security, I will personally over see every aspect of business dealings. Because property is going to be my biggest asset here, I will personally be responsible for making sure all rooms are in the best condition they can be. Too many property owners fail at this. They do not care if a door is not closing right, or a sink is clogged. I am going to change this in the way I run my buildings. This will make my apartments more desirable and more profitable, and stand out among other places to live. I want to model everything my self to ensure quality control. This is what I am going to do for the next 3 years. This is now my full time job.

Keep close records of all business dealings. I am going to hire an accountant to take care of all daily money related business. So I don’t have too. I don’t know that much about handling that kind of money, but with an accountant on my team, I don’t have to know everything about taxes etc., employee housing will help pay for cost. Consult with lawyers to make sure all laws are followed and that I am properly insured. I do not need to be closed down for some small over sight.

My business is going to progressive. As owner of a progressive business, I am going to actively promote change towards better conditions and to favor a new way of thinking. I am going to apply Utilitarian philosophy to my business. This means thinking like this: “what can I do to help the greatest number of people.” If I can do something that benefits everyone else and not just myself, then that I what I am going to do. The am going to do the greatest good for the greatest number of people.

This will be a key factor in the success of my business, and I will be rewarded for it with karma.

I do not know if this kind of thing has ever been done before, but what I do know is that things are changing, I and want to be there when people are looking for something better then what is out there now.
