Chapter 14 Publishing

Get the word out. This takes two forms.

1) Advertising for clients. I am going to need steady business. Therefore, I am going to need to advertise. The biggest risk for my business is not renting out enough rooms to pay mortgages. This is why advertising is so important. I am going to need to rent out the most rooms possible, to make the most money in rent profit. With proper advertising, I increase the chances of my business being successful. I will spend any amount of money on this (as long as it does not cost more the RP) I will hire an advertising agency and have a personal manager to take care of day-to-day business.

Spend a lot of money on this from the beginning. Get a loan or sell bonds just for this purpose. Use as support for the security of my company. If investors know the full financial details of the business, they are more likely to get invest.

2) Publish book

This document has amazing potential to be published. This is another business proposal for working for me.

Spend 100 hours writing this book. If published

Sells a million copies

I make $0.50 cents on each $19.99 book

I make $500,000 in 100 hours of work

$500,000/100hrs = $5,000/hr !!

The nubraric beauty of retail. Doing millions of small transactions. This is the dream of all entrepreneurs.

Anyways, this is a high-risk job because the chances of me being published are low. In addition, the chances are even lower to sell 1 million copies. Even so, it can be done. If I spend 200 hours on it, I still make $2,500/hr. I will take this high-risk job because I have nothing to lose. As I work for myself, I decide how I spend my time.

If not published, I am out only 100 hours, that I spent writing my game plan for the next 20 years. Most of the time I spent sitting down, learning about lots of different things about the world. Why not try? Why not do this? The book’s real purpose is to show to investors to show them that I am serious about this business. This is the main objective of this book. I need to get $40,000 in investments, and this book is going to help me do it.

Finish the Second Edition as soon as possible, set up book conference at SUNY. Invite as many people as possible, also invite media, book publishers, possible investors, friends who might be interested in working with me. Book Debut Promotion, I will present a speech about the book followed by questions and answers. I will be sure to have plenties of copies on hand to sell and to sign autographs. This conference is going to be videotaped and used for further promotion on website. Video promotion and audio copies of the book will be available on the website.

I could become a famous writer in the process. I like writing, so I think I could handle the work.

What I have to do to get this published: This is only the first edition folks. If you are reading this, this is only the beginning of this book. I am asking you to give me your input on this. I am going to use your suggestions and contribution in the second edition of this book. You are the test audience, what do you think of the book and the ideas in it? Tell me: would you want to live in one of these apartments? Do you think other people will like the ideas? And do you think that the ideas in this book could work at all? Was everything clear? Were there any parts that you did not understand, or were confusing?

It is important to me that I get your response in writing. I also need to know if you give me permission to uses your ideas and to quote your support for both the business and the book. The second edition will have a forward written by some one else. If you have enough to say about this book, please feel free to respond with something that could be published as a forward. This is going to be very important in the success of this book.
